About the artist
I am a watercolorist and graphic designer based in Orlando, Florida, U.S.A. I specialize in landscape painting but have other subjects to view at mmalloy.net.

I enjoy the game of golf both as player and spectator. I look to capture the golf landscape, early mornings or late afternoon, when the shadows are long and the lighting dramatic. The golf course architect attempts to enhance the natural terrain and, when successful, the result makes for an artistic combination

If possible, I visit the site I want to depict. From photos, I create the paintngs in the studio. I am not striving for an architectural rendering but more for a painterly representation that captures the color and light of the moment.

I welcome commissions.
I have worked with individuals, with interior designers and with decorators. I can work from my photos taken at the site or from supplied photos, design drawings or conceptuals. Often my images are used on club scorecards, promotional materials, premiums at the sales center, art for site accommodations or offered for resale in the proshop. Please contact me for answers to any questions.
