‘Tuscan Discovery’
A mashup of a few images taken on a trip. The interesting thing is that the figures were generated with AI . Chosen from AI results of asking for ‘figures hiking with backpacks’, I used one of the images as reference when adding the figures to the painting. Remember the days of the ‘clip files’, when artists would build reference files by clipping photos from publications? It is now an app on the phone. Progress.
The painting was recognized with a Merit Award during a recent juried exhibition.
