Using the painting “Friend or Foe” by Remington as a model, I painted this rendition on canvas panel with acrylic paint. I am seeking a balance between watercolor and a traditional acrylic technique.
Artists often copied the masters work in order to gain insight into their techniques and how Remington handled his subjects has always been a favorite of mine.
